LEARNING TO FLY
This painting is about taking that first step out from the edge, tumbling down, trying to find your wings but failing, clawing your way back to the safety of your comfort zone repeatedly until one day, you succeed...you step out and instead of falling, your wings finally catch the breeze under them and you soar into the sky, free to explore new worlds. It's for anyone who has had a dream and has felt scared to pursue it, or for anyone who has tried many times to pursue it but failed for whatever reason. It's about courage and hope and determination. It's a message that it's okay to fail and to try again and again, because one day, you WILL succeed in achieving your dreams.
