The process of creating my art and sharing it with the world is one which fascinates, enthrals, and frustrates me. Sometimes it is easy and carefree - the inspiration flows freely, my paintings almost seem to paint themselves, and I feel proud and excited to share my finished works with people. Other times though, I feel fear and trepidation in the creative process and in putting myself and my work out there. It’s a constant balancing act between the two ends of the scale, between pushing myself forward and pulling myself back. It’s these experiences and emotions that I endeavoured to capture here on canvas through the use of colour, brushstrokes, and movement.
